Route description

Challenging and spectacular circular route in the central massif of the Picos de Europa, ideal for experienced mountaineers in good physical condition.

It starts in Poncebos, ascending through the steep and little-traveled Canal del Tejo to reach the isolated village of Bulnes, and continues along the rocky Canal de Camburero, leading to the Urriellu Hut at the foot of the iconic Naranjo de Bulnes.

After spending the night there, the return follows a gentler and more scenic route, passing by the Terenosa Hut before descending back to Poncebos.

Option to book stay, dinner and breakfast at the Urriellu Hut (subject to availability).
