Route description
Scenic, family-friendly route with no technical difficulty, starting with the cable car ride from Fuente Dé.
From there, the path descends gently through the wide Áliva highlands, crossing pastures and glacial landscapes. The route passes by the Áliva Hut and the striking Llomba del Toro moraine, remnants of the glacier-shaped terrain of the national park. The descent continues along a track back to Fuente Dé, with spectacular views of the central massif of the Picos de Europa.
An accessible and very complete option to discover the high mountains without excessive difficulty.
