Route description

Spectacular circular route that covers the most emblematic summit of the Lunada area.
The itinerary ascends from El Bernacho in a comfortable way, without very steep slopes or technical sections, crossing beech forests and pastures. In less than 4 km it reaches the summit of “El Castru”, offering magnificent views of the Pas valleys and the Cantabrian coast.

The descent completes the circular route, following the ridge with views of both valleys before descending back to El Bernacho. A very complete hike, ideal for mountaineers of all levels.

The route also includes a return drive along a different road from the one taken on the way up, allowing you to pass through another area and enjoy stops at spectacular viewpoints.
