Route description

Classic route in Picos that starts from the upper station of the cable car, at about 1,800 m of altitude. The trail winds through limestone landscapes until reaching the solitary Cabaña Verónica, the highest hut in the national park. From there, the ascent continues to Horcados Rojos, offering breathtaking views of the Naranjo de Bulnes and other towering peaks.

The terrain is rocky and somewhat demanding, with exposed sections. Ideal for hikers with some experience and the desire to reach one of the Picos’ iconic summits.
