Route description
Linear and easy route that ascends to the impressive Cabaña Verónica hut, the highest in the Picos de Europa at 2,325 m. After gaining almost 1,000 m in just 3 minutes on the Fuente Dé cable car, we will start the route across the central massif towards our destination, where we will spend the night and enjoy breathtaking views. We will also have the option to climb up to Horcados Rojos mountain pass to admire the famous Naranjo de Bulnes.
The next morning, we will descend back to the upper station of the Fuente Dé cable car to take it down again to the lower parking area.
There is an option to book dinner and breakfast at Cabaña Verónica (subject to availability).
