Hike description
A spectacular circular route that takes in some of the most iconic peaks around Lunada. The itinerary first ascends Pico La Brena, then continues along the ridge to Alto de las Corvas and Pico La Miel, offering magnificent views of the Pasiegos Valleys and the Cantabrian coast. From there, the final ridge leads to Castro Valnera (1,718 m), the highest point in the area and one of Cantabria’s best-known peaks.
The descent completes a circular route that skirts the summits via trails and pastures, returning to the starting point at Lunada Station. A very complete route, with ridge sections, rocky passages, and vegetated areas — ideal for hikers with some experience.
